Never ending improvement and learning new skill- Manual Osteopathy

When you get comfortable with status quo, remind yourself that if you aren't moving forwards you are moving backwards. This is why to be successful, you could say that the criterion are two-fold. Pursue something you love and master it. Two- make the world a better place (make a difference).

To me, this is pursuing natural holistic healthcare and help people regain their health without the damaging effects of drugs or irreversible risks of surgical intervention. This is why choosing Osteopathy at, National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) was an easy choice. Osteopathy is a healthcare profession that is drug-free and non-invasive. It is a manual therapy, with emphasis of soft tissue therapy and physical manipulation of the muscles, joints and spine to help with myriads of musculoskeletal conditions.

What I liked most about the course, Doctor of Osteopathy DO (Spain), was the Business Management section. In this part, the lectures are given by, Dr. Shahin Pourgol, DC DO, the founder of the college. When he talks, you listen. He is an extremely passionate and motivated person and teaches how other Manual Osteopaths can be highly successful practitioners and entrepreneurs like him. The reality is, as a healthcare professional, you are running and operating a business. So you need to be a savvy businessman (businesswoman). Shahin Pourgol, a multi-millionaire is very aware that business management is an important part of the overall course allowing you need to not only have the exceptional skills to give world class Manual Osteopathy treatment but to also have the business mind to sustain and grow your clinic (brand)- as did he. He leads by example. If he can do it, so can me and you!

From yours sincerely,
Graduating student year 2017, Doctor of Osteopathy DO (Spain), NUMSS

Chiropractor in Singapore, Raffles Place/Marina Bay/Tanjong Pagar area- Dr David Guest

This site is dedicated in bringing awareness and sharing knowledge about how the rich invest their money so as to make a positive difference to your financial well-being. With that said, let's take a step back for a moment and ponder- what's wealth when you don't have the health?! Is spending money on our well-being (health) an expense or an investment in our future?

Health, truly affects all facets of our lives- our work, our relationships, our finances to name a few. How many times have we heard cases of people delay treating their health problems, or delay spending money on their health because their priority is "saving" money for that bigger house or that luxury car, only to later encounter a health crisis and all that money "saved" gets wiped out due to medical & hospital expenses! On the flip side, if we invest in our health and well-being now, this could arguably pay the highest "dividend" during our lifetime. We will be more productive at work, create fruitful relationships with our dearest family and friends and improve the quality of our life.

Seeing, Dr David Guest, chiropractor with Chiropractic Solutions Group at their Raffles Place/Tanjong Pagar branch (Keck Seng Tower) in Singapore has changed my whole outlook on health. He has taught me that ALL function of the human body is controlled by the nervous system. The brain communicates with the organs and tissues via the spinal cord and nerves that passes through and out the spine. He helped me understand that if the nerves control all function, then we need to make sure that these nerves that pass out the spinal bones must be as healthy as possible in order for the body to work at its best. But with life, physical forces and stresses can cause damage to the spine- the very thing that protects these delicate and vital nerves. If the spine gets mis-aligned, they can put abnormal stresses on the spine, the ligaments and muscle and irritate these vital nerves that pass through and out the spine causing various health problems like back pain, neck pain, numbness & weakness in the arms and legs. If left untreated, and the problem is allowed to progress and become advanced, Chiropractic may not help. In this case surgery becomes the last resort. At what ever cost- I'd like to avoid this last scenario.

 I met Dr Guest at the Tanglin Club (Singapore), where we play squash together. I know that a lot of his patients go to see him with sports injuries and he is well known for getting them well really fast so that they can keep playing their sports, which like me, is a high priority in their life. Actually, if you want to play a game of racquet sport with him, I personally know he would love to hear from you. He is a very good and talented player so you need to be on your A-game! Either way, whether it be for a chiropractic treatment at his clinic or to challenge him to a game, I'll leave you with his clinic details as below;

Words of wisdom- Jim Rogers

I have learned, for whatever reason, to know that change is coming, to know to think against the crowd is nearly always wrong and to try to think for myself.

"...if everybody says the sky is blue, I at least urge you to go and look out the window and see if it's blue because I have found that most people won't even bother to look out the window..."

Bubble, Bubble, Money and Trouble [Barron's, LAUREN R. RUBLIN interviews MARC FABER, publisher of the Gloom Boom & Doom Report; SATURDAY, JUNE 1, 2013]

Marc Faber's take on Myanmar:

Where ever you go, people are talking about Myanmar. They seem to love it as much as they loved Vietnam right near the market's peak in 2006-07. There are opportunities, but there is high execution risk. Yoma Strategic Holdings [Z59.SIYOMA.Singapore] is the only direct play on Myanmar. It is run by an old friend of mine, Serge Pun, an ideal man to operate in difficult environments. I am not recommending the stock because it no longer is cheap, but this is the way to invest in Myanmar if you want to do it.
